Recent weather has had a profound effect upon multiple communities in the Philippines. We are working on gathering donations in order ship crates of bottled water and rice (and other non perishables) to aid in the recovery effort. Evacuees need some potable water, blankets, medicines, clothing and food (rice, noodles and some canned foods). So many things, even lumber and nails are needed to rebuild their homes, makeshift huts and shanties. We are also sending financial aid directly to Father Abe in the form of Philippine Pesos to subsidize the expenses of his community in Cagayan de Oro City.

The need for water is EXTREME as children are contracting diarrhea, their only water coming from the government firetrucks. There is no potable water available except in extremely overpriced bottles. Panic buyers have emptied stores in less than 10 minutes daily, and store owners are capitalizing on this tragedy.
